Soros on Terrorism

Courtesy of UK Daily Telegraph. George Soros, at an international conference on terrorism in Madrid, said that Spain had a "very different response to terrorism...a healthier response." Blah, blah. Can't we send this guy back to Hungary or something?

"Producing innocent victims creates anger and resentment. And this anger and resentment feeds terrorism...there are more people wanting to kill Americans than there were before...These people didn't think like that before the Americans arrived and did what they did. The attitude of creating innocent victims creates terrorists. It's as simple as that."

These thoughts didn't exist? Ahem...ever hear of Beirut, Khobar Towers, the U.S.S. Cole or the World Trade Center? Or maybe he's suggesting that these feelings didn't exist prior to America's existence in 1776...

On another note, I'm not sure why Spain is hosting a conference on terrorism; that's a little bit like Michael Moore holding a conference on dieting.
