Worries About Alienation of British Muslims

It's always the liberals that are afraid of "offending" Muslims (the only people they couldn't care less about are Christians and sometimes Jews). Liberal Democrats in London warned that Britain's new measures to crack down on Islamofascists might alienate the majority of law abiding Muslims.

I think most people couldn't care less if some Muslims are alienated. If Britain's "law abiding" Muslim society can't control (or even condemn) radicalism, then control must be imposed for the protection of society at large. If some Muslims are offended, perhaps they will actually lift a finger to prevent radical clerics from preaching jihad.

Until that happens, they can cry me a river.
