Clinton: Iraq Not as Important as Afghanistan

Bill Clinton is in full Bush bashing mode. Yesterday he said two very stupid things designed to hurt Bush:

1) That the U.S. had no basis for attacking Iraq. That's right - despite violating every UN resolution, shooting at U.S. warplanes in the no-fly zone (an overt act of war), and building chem/bio equipment, Bill Clinton still feels that the correct course of action was his own: that is, an official "regime change" policy, but with no intention to ever carry it out.

2) That Afghanistan is much more important than Iraq. The reason for this is obvious: Bill Clinton couldn't care less if the Middle East remains a wasteland or if Iraq becomes a haven to terrorists who want to kill a hundred million Americans. As long as it hurts Bush and Clinton can say, "See, this is why I didn't do anything with Iraq," then slick Willy is perfectly content.

Bush needs to cut his ties with Clinton once and for all.
