Foreign Help For Katrina Victims

So far I have seen exactly two articles which show foreign assistance to the U.S. victims of Hurricane Katrina: Australia and Japan.

Canada said that they would sell us an additional 92k bpd of crude oil - and I heard on tv they are sending some Red Cross folks as well.

Finally, Venezuela offered to send its soldiers to help propagandize Castro henchman Hugo Chavez.

I'm not holding my breath for support from the UN, the EU or the Arab world. That's OK - if you want a job done right, you need to do it yourself anyway. (Just look at the Middle East.)
