Democrats Now Want to OK Public Management Teams

Charles Schumer now believes that it's the business of Congress to OK the selection of corporate executives of public firms.

In a letter to Bank of America's chairman Ken Lewis, Schumer is putting pressure on the company to re-think its appointment of David Sambol to run BofA/Countrywide's mortgage business.

I wonder what Schumer's views are on the new mailroom clerk at Citibank...
