Obama Compares Ayers and Coburn

There were a lot of gaffes in last night's debate and I think both candidates showed their ugly side (or rather, ABC's questions showed the candidates ugly side).

But one of the more egregious points of the debate was Obama's defense of his relationship with William Ayers to that of Sen. Tom Coburn. As Red State points out, it is entirely unfair for Obama to say that he disagrees with Ayers' views just as he disagrees with Sen. Coburn's views.

William Ayers is a terrorist who has not repented about killing innocent Americans because of his hatred for the country and yet Obama still has a friendly working relationship with him.
