Sen. Inhofe: Global Warming Bill Won't Pass

According to Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK), the Lieberman-Warner bill designed to curb "global warming", which is before the Senate this week, is unlikely to pass.

The bill would simply create the largest new tax increase in the history of this country, raising the cost of business by several trillion dollars over the next 30 years.

One interesting point Inhofe made was that, even if all the countries who signed the Kyoto Accord abide by their "mandates" for the next 40 years (and not a single one has done so yet), it would at most reduce the global temperature by 0.07 degrees. And at a very cheap cost...
