Intrade: US Recession Unlikely in '08

Intrade allows people to put their money where there mouths are regarding politics, world events and other items. A contract that pays off $1 if the U.S. enters a recession in 2008 and which traded above 70 cents earlier in the year, closed yesterday at 5.5 cents.
