AP: Obama's Crisis Similar to FDR, Lincoln

The Associated Press says that the crisis Obama is facing is comparable to what Lincoln and FDR faced. This analogy is laughable, but it attempts to lay the groundwork for a failure, so that it will be impossible to blame Obama for his policies.

FDR faced a 25% unemployment rate and a huge contraction of GDP; Obama faces a 6.5% unemployment rate and a 0.1% contraction. Lincoln faced a civil war where hundreds of thousands of people died and countries seceded. Obama faces people who disagree with the liberal Obama policies (but I haven't heard of any secession threats yet)...

A foolish comparison by any standards.
