Obama's Energy Policy: No Drilling

With a quiet signing of a new environmental bill that designates over 2 million resource-rich acres as off limits to oil and gas drilling, it's clear where our energy policy is going - no energy independence and more dependence on foreign oil. (Sorry, but ask any person involved in the solar and wind business and you will learn just how insignificant the total percentage of energy could actually come from these sources.)

Give Obama credit - now that he's the planner-in-chief for GM and he knows people don't want to buy their rollerskates with engines, he's going to force the price of gas sky-high to incentivize people to buy them. And of course, when it happens and people start complaining about high gas prices, it will be time to blame the oil companies again.
