EU Objects to Oracle-Sun Merger

Does it bother anyone else that, even after U.S. companies have to jump through hoops with the U.S. Justice Department to get acquisitions approved, the European Commission now has a veto over such deals? It almost seems like we have an International Commission that can overrule U.S. actions - something that Obama and the Left have wanted for years.
