Interesting Case Study on Obama's "Saved or Created"" Jobs
If this weren't true, it would be funny.
Moore apparently sold 9 pairs of shoes to the Army Corps of Engineers, which had received federal "stimulus" funds. The shoemaker had to fill out cumbersome forms which took hours to complete. To answer the all-important question of how many jobs were "saved or created," Moore's daughter answered 9 because she assumed she was helping 9 people do their jobs with the new shoes.
The sad truth is that the only jobs that were created were to process these idiotic forms.
How did Kentucky shoe store owner Buddy Moore save nine jobs with just $889.60 in federal stimulus money? He didn’t, and that’s turning into a big headache for him.

“The question, I would like to know is: How do you answer that? Did we create zero? Is it creating a job because they have boots and go out and work for the Corps? I would be really curious to hear how somebody does create a job. The formula is out there for anyone to create, and it’s just so difficult,” she said.
