Does Snow Really Cost Taxpayers $100 Million Per Day?

According to government reports, the shutdown of Washington DC costs taxpayers $100 million per day due to the lack of productivity of all those paid federal workers.

My feeling is that every day that the federal government doesn't do anything is a huge net gain for taxpayers. I say we should keep 'em at home all year long. Will anyone really miss them?
