BBC Plants Hecklers at Conservative Meeting

In a style reminiscent of Al-Jazeera, where a news organization feels the necessity to create news rather than report it, the BBC planted three hecklers at a political event hosted by the Tories. The BBC's excuse? Cover it up, CBS style:

Last night, the BBC claimed that the exercise was part of a "completely legitimate programme about the history and art of political heckling" and said that other parties' meetings were being "observed". However, The Telegraph has established that none of Tony Blair's meetings was infiltrated or disrupted in similar fashion.

Hmm...you would expect a little more professionalism from an organization that exists solely because UK taxpayers fund it.
