Sunday is for the Pope
It's pretty obvious that nearly every Sunday morning talk show, newspaper and periodical today will be devoted to the life of Pope John Paul II. Rightly so - it's not hard to find journalists and politicians praising the Pope for his contributions to the world.
Still, there is one newspaper that had a critical article ready to publish and only needed a "supportive statement" to "balance" it - the New York Times. It seems that the Pope was just a little too...uh....religious for Times' tastes. At least now we know the process the newspaper undertakes when writing its articles - make your point, then search like mad to prove that point.
