U.S. Navy Seals Plan Exercises in Southie

Although not a nationally newsworthy event, I still find this story interesting. Apparently Navy SEALS are going to be participating in war-games in South Boston. The most interesting tidbit from the article:

U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-MA), whose hometown is South Boston, was once arrested for trying to beat on an Iranian student burning an American flag in the 70s. Interesting (not all Democrats are nice to flag burners).

Maybe the Navy will ask John Kerry to help out with the exercises - the rumor is that Kerry once served in the Navy in Vietnam...I had no idea.
