Brian Williams: George Washington = Islamic Terrorist

Brian Williams, anchor of NBC Nightly News, said Thursday that many of our founding fathers were not too dissimilar from today's Islamofascist terrorists. After a report on questions surrounding the new Iranian leader's involvement in the 1979 U.S. Embassy hijacking, Williams asked,

""What would it matter if proven true? Someone brought up today the first several U.S. presidents were certainly revolutionaries and might have been called 'terrorists' by the British crown, after all."

I used to think that Brian Williams, unlike other news anchors, had at least half a brain. Now that's doubtful. When our news anchors can't tell the difference between Islamic terrorists who want to kill all "infidels" and our founding fathers' desire for an independent nation based on liberty, you know we have a problem with our media.
