The Comical Senate Intelligence Committee

Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard slams the Senate Intelligence Committee report that claims Saddam had no ties whatsoever to Al Qaeda. The must-read article can be found here (that is, if you want to get a non-fiction summary of events).

It's not surprising that Democrats wanted to conclude that Iraq was one of the few countries in the world with absolutely no ties to terrorism. But I don't know why Sens. Hagel or Snowe were such willing participants in this joke.
