Muslims Want Pope's Removal

In what has become surreal, Muslims are now calling for the removal of the Pope. About 1,000 Muslim clerics and scholars in Pakistan demanded:

The "pope, and all infidels, should know that no Muslim, under any circumstances, can tolerate an insult to the Prophet (Muhammad). ... If the West does not change its stance regarding Islam, it will face severe consequences."

Just to summarize: the Pope quotes an old text that says that Muslims should not resort to violence. Now Muslim clerics are saying that if we don't change our views, they will kill us all. Sounds logical.
