CNN - busted!
I'm not saying it was done intentionally but the professional standards used in CNN's republican debate last night are appalling. It sounds like most of the questioners who stated that they were republicans, are actually now known to be democrats. On the one hand, this describes CNN's entire news network - where people claim to be independent reporters but usually slant the news toward the left. So you might ask, what's the big deal if it happens on most of the major news networks anyway?
The big deal is that if these people are claiming to be disgruntled republicans - if the idea is that people from the republican party are criticizing their own party - then it adds credibility. In addition it shows internal strife within the party. Either way, the idea is to make the party look worse than otherwise. At least when people like Dan Rather did it, we already knew he was a hard core democrat.
