Democrat Solution to Recession: Raise Taxes

Congressman John Dingell (D-MI) believes that in order to reduce oil consumption, we need to raise taxes by $.50 per gallon.

While the rest of the government is trying to figure out how to avoid a financial meltdown and/or a severe recession, some Dems think that raising your taxes might help us.
