Bush Ally Reclaims Power

Silvio Berlusconi, a strong conservative ally of President Bush, has reclaimed power in Italy, replacing the left-wing Prodi. Whenever a Bush ally lost an election (e.g. John Howard, Jose Maria Aznar), the media has painted it as a severe blow to Bush foreign policies. I suppose, then, that Berlusconi's victory means that the world is once again longing for Bush's policies...
