McCain a Good Fundraiser After All

John McCain can raise a lot of funds when he really puts his mind to it - except that he doesn't do it intentionally. After criticizing his North Carolina GOP base last week over a state campaign ad (without ever seeing the ad in question), Republican voters showed what they thought of McCain's criticism. Fund raising for the NC GOP has skyrocketed since then. According to state officials:

"We have certainly seen an increase in fundraising. They're rolling in so fast we can't possibly keep up with them."

Incidentally, McCain had better get used to the GOP using Jeremiah Wright as a tactic. Mississippi is also using it against the Democrat opponent. It appears that John McCain is the one "out of touch with reality."
