Sen. McConnell Shuts Down Senate

Woohoo! Finally, the GOP decided to grow a pair and effectively shut down the Senate this afternoon by forcing the reading of all 500 pages of the Lieberman-Warner (cap-and-trade) bill. This is getting back at Harry Reid for lying on his promise to vote on judicial nominees.

I hope it stays shut down through the end of the year.
