Democrat Congress Discussing Raising Gas Tax

Forget about the gas tax holiday, proposed by McCain to reduce gas prices for consumers over the summer. Now the Democrat-led Congress is instead discussing raising the gas tax by an additional 10 cents per gallon.

It's hard to believe that anyone could win an election with insane proposals like this in the face of significant economic headwinds but the Dems just seem addicted to higher taxes. If McCain were smart, he would call attention to this absurd idea.
