"Global Warming" to Reduce Hurricanes

Woops. Remember what everyone said about global warming effecting more frequent hurricanes? Nevermind. They now think it will actually reduce the number of hurricanes. From the Heartland Institute:

Global warming is likely to reduce the number of hurricanes that occur each year, according to two new studies by forecasters who previously claimed global warming would cause more hurricanes.

And Americans are not supposed to laugh at the suggestion of global warming affecting everything from floods to hurricanes to sea leevels? This article reminds me of the 1975 Newsweek cover alarming everyone of "global cooling." A few years later they decided that the opposite was true.
