Gordon Brown Supporting Obama?

Not that it should be surprising, but for British PM to be so supportive of Obama without saying a word about McCain, is pretty poor diplomacy. Someone with any knowledge of politics might want to fill in the PM that 1) his support won't help Obama and 2) his support could cost him if and when McCain wins.
