McCain Speech: Yawn

Last night was the least exciting night of the convention. After hearing Romney, Giuliani, Huckabee and Palin on Wednesday, folks got treated to Lindsey Graham, Tom Ridge and John McCain last night (all uneventful). I also don't think McCain won over voters when he said that daughters of migrant workers (read: illegal immigrants) are as American as anyone. Apart from being factually incorrect, since they only become citizens if they were born in the U.S. (and even that is constitutionally suspect), I don't think he wins voters reminding people that he is in favor of full amnesty like Ted Kennedy.

And of course, Left Wing protesters tried to disrupt the speech a few times. As usual, their desire for freedom of speech is overrun by their desire to shut down all opposition viewpoints.
