Specter Pulls a Bloomberg, Goes to Dems

Arlen Specter, seeing the future butt kicking in PA at the hands of Pat Toomey, decided to switch to the Democrat party.

Sorry, but if someone can really feel comfortable going from a pro-life, limited government, low-tax, federalist party to a pro-abortion, big government, tax-and-spend party, then you can't have any real values. It's just not possible.

What took him so long? If he did this 8 years ago, we would probably have a lot more conservative judges on the courts today - and Pat Toomey would probably be senator today.
