Emerson CEO: Democrats "Destroying Manufacturing" in U.S.

Unlike GE's liberal CEO Jeff Immelt who seems too happy to support Obama, Emerson Electric Co. CEO David Farr doesn't mince words at an industry conference:

“Washington is doing everything in their manpower, capability, to destroy U.S. manufacturing,” Farr said today in Chicago at a Baird Industrial Outlook conference. “Cap and trade, medical reform, labor rules.”

Companies will create jobs in India and China, “places where people want the products and where the governments welcome you to actually do something,” Farr said.

But of course, we are supposed to trust Obama and Pelosi instead...

Incidentally, GE's stock price is down 59.7% over the past two years, while Emerson Electric's stock price is only down 23.9%. I'll take Farr over Immelt any day.
