No Solar Panels in My Desert

Environmentalists have long championed solar panels as our savior (forget that it would take 1000 square miles of them to produce the same energy as a 5-acre nuclear power plant).

But now environmentalists say they don't want to disturb the Mojave Desert's natural habitat and don't want solar panels there. Sen. Diane Feinstein is planning a bill to close the desert to any solar panels.

No windmills along the coast, no drilling where there's oil, and now no solar panels in the desert. Don't be surprised if Congress proposes we find a place for them up in Alaska.
