Public School Teachers Lose Standoff with RI Town

In a town where the median income is $22K and public school teachers make $70-78K, Central Falls, Rhode Island tried to get its teachers to help improve the education system by working an extra 25 minutes a day. The teacher union refused. All the teachers got fired.

Good for them. Now if we could only get that attitude at the federal level...
