Top Afghan General Slams, Feels "Betrayed" By Obama Administration

Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top commander in Afghanistan, was apparently too candid in a recent interview for Rolling Stone, where he said he felt "betrayed" by the top US diplomat in Kabul, Karl Elkenberry. McChrystal was also "disappointed" by Obama, who was unprepared at their first meeting, which he described as a "photo op" for Obama. He also refers to Obama and his inner circle as the "wimps in the White House."

McChrystal, by the way, voted for Obama. I think that, and not the candid article, was McChrystal's real lack of judgment.
