Social Security Permanently in the Red Now

According to the CBO, their previous projection that the Social Security "trust fund" would dip into the red by 2016 was off by 5 years. It's in the red as of now.

So as President Bush pointed out in his 2006 SOTU address, he tried to reform it, but Democrats blocked it. They cheered wildly at their obstruction. Now of course, the situation gets worse each day.
