Mark the Date: Gore TV!

Move over, '24.' According to the WSJ this morning, the cable channel that Al Gore's investment group recently acquired is scheduled to relaunch on August 1st.
The former vice president and his partners, including entrepreneur Joel Hyatt, are taking an unconventional approach to TV programming in hopes of attracting viewers aged 18 to 34. That demographic, heavily sought by advertisers, has become difficult for TV networks and newspapers to reach.

The first question I have is "Who in the world would invest with this guy?" If the channel is even close to as unsuccessful as the former Vice President over the past few years, we might be looking at the tv equivalent of Air America.
