Tribute to the Gipper - One Year Later

A year ago yesterday was the one-year anniversary of the death of one of the greatest presidents of the twentieth century. Nancy left her husband a bouquet of white roses. I think it would do Congress well to review President Reagan's first inaugural address, in which he reiterated his expectation to limit the size of the federal government, strengthen the economy and spread freedom across the world. Just a couple of the many memorable lines"
In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem...All of us -- all of us need to be reminded that the Federal Government did not create the states; the states created the Federal Government.

We will again be the exemplar of freedom and a beacon of hope for those who do not now have freedom.

Jackson's Junction has a great tribute to Reagan - check it out. (Hat tip: Scared Monkeys).
