Kanjorski: Dems "Stetched the Facts" in '06 Elections

Democrat Congressman Kanjorski (PA) admitted that the Dems lied to the country in 2006 about being able or willing to end the Iraq War.

The truth is that Democrats are happy to saddle George Bush with a defeat but they do not want to be known (again) as the party of defeat and surrender. Even if they win the Presidency and Congress this fall, I still doubt that they would be willing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by pulling the troops out of Iraq immediately.
