Senate Keeps Spending: Pass Massive Farm Bill

The Democrat-led Senate, along with many willing Republicans, passed the pork-laden farm bill 81-15 today, thus neutering a Bush veto attempt.

Those poor farmers simply aren't making enough money with record crop prices.
