VA Gov Kaine Proposes Huge Tax Increase

Virginia's Democrat Governor Tim Kaine is back to what he knows best - offering huge tax increases. His new proposal includes a 20% increase in the sales tax for Northern VA (currently at 5%) to pay for all of his new pet projects. (Nevermind that he calls it a "1% increase," which is misleading.)

I am pretty confident that Virginians are a bit too smart to agree to his proposal.
