McCain: Drill Offshore but not in ANWR

Sen. McCain decided it is ok to drill for oil offshore but not in ANWR. Drilling offshore is a no-brainer, as foreign nations are already drilling off the coast of Florida, courtesy of our Cuban friends.

But ANWR is apparently too "pristine" to drill. McCain rightly claims that Obama has no idea of what the situation in Iraq is like because he hasn't been there. The same thing can be said of McCain on ANWR. McCain should visit the mere 2,000 acres of barren tundra in northern Alaska and see if he still thinks the land is "too pristine." Alternatively, he can simply read this article by Johah Goldberg that explains what life (or lack thereof) in ANWR is like.
