Los Angeles Bans Fast Food Restaurants

Welcome to the nanny state, Los Angeles. The city council passed a ban on all new fast food outlets in certain poor neighborhoods of Los Angeles.

I know one group of people who this law will not help - anyone who looks to these restaurants for their jobs. (Hey, without a job, they probably won't become obese, right? I suppose that could be viewed as a positive.) But then again, socialism has a long history of failure and those facts never get in the way of liberals.
