Romney, Pawlenty OUT

According to FoxNews, Mitt Romney and Tim Pawlenty are out of the running for VP. There was a charter flight from Anchorage to Dayton last night, which leads people to think it's Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. Apparently a woman and two teenagers (presumably her sons) got off the plane.

While I'm disappointed because Romney is the best choice, the good news is that Romney won't be tainted in 2012 by being linked with McCain. If true, it's a bit of a Harriet Myers pick in my opinion. An acceptable woman, probably not a heavyweight, but acceptable. And does it put ANWR drilling in play?

*Update*
Larry Kudlow, a well-respected promoter of supply-side economics, really likes her. That's a good start.

*Update 2*
The Club For Growth also likes the pick.

Hey, I'm still a Romney fan, but frankly, Palin seems pretty good. And if anyone calls her inexperienced, being a first term governor, well...there's someone on the other side who's a first term Senator. And the media is already bashing her for her lack of her experience...
