Government Irresponsibility

There has been a lot of talk about the government becoming "irresponsible" with its investment in AIG. I just wonder when the government was ever responsible. I have a lot more faith in the AIG investment than I do in the Social Security and Medicare black holes. Now those programs are truly irresponsible and will cost 10x more than all the financial institution bailouts in U.S. history.
