Lacker: Government Response May Have Worsened Crisis

Richmond Fed president Jeffrey Lacker says that the government response to the financial crisis may have worsened the situation.

Just like all panics, the government typically provides the wrong medicine at the wrong time. I have a feeling the next few years are going to see a dramatic increase in government involvement in every part of the economy, which is never a good thing.
