NY Governor: Cut Spending; Don't Increase Taxes

NY Democratic Gov. David Paterson is speaking out about his state's coming budget deficit. And to my surprise, he is advocating strong spending cuts and no increase in tax rates, which he says would hurt his state.

I wish Obama would follow the Governor's lead and say the same thing.
