Obama's First Act; Murtha Says He'll Take 'Em

For Obama's very first act of his Presidency, he signed an order to shut down Gitmo. John Hawkins says that the clear message Obama is sending is that unlike the nation under President Bush, the U.S. is now just a paper tiger again. I think another more obvious message is that we are telling the world that, despite these terrorists' desire to murder innocent civilians, the U.S. is the one at fault because we are somehow treating them poorly. Regardless, it sends an awful message as a first Presidential act.

Meanwhile, John Murtha says his district will be happy to take all of the terrorists.
