Will Obama Defend Constitution or World Court?
The WSJ notes that the UN's International Court of Justice unanimously found that the U.S. had violated the Hague's stay of execution on Jose Medillin and nearly 50 Mexicans on death row in the U.S.
As we all know, the Obama Administration is expected to comply with everything the UN has to say. But if the U.S. caves in this case to the World Court, it would mean that the U.S. Constitution is no longer the supreme law of the land, but instead, the law of the land can be overruled by foreign governments. If that's the case, there's no point in even taking today's inaugural oath to defend it.
