Environmentalists Causing Plane Crashes?

Cause one airplane crash, shame on you; cause more airplane crashes, shame on us. The FAA have long known the bird problem at LaGuardia Airport, but environmentalists are opposed to doing anything about it.

Maloney, whose firm specializes in aviation issues, said city and Port Authority officials want to clear the area surrounding LaGuardia Airport of birds, but environmentalists don't want the birds, mostly seagulls and Canada geese, disturbed from their nesting grounds.

Environmentalists helped create record oil prices last year, which declined only due to the current recession. Now they are refusing to acknowledge a serious health risk for anyone flying out of LaGuardia Airport. When will there be a backlash against this nonsense?
