California Soundly Defeats Ballot Initiatives to Raise Taxes

It's a bit late in the day, but in case you haven't heard, California shot down all five ballot measures designed to raise taxes and/or increase spending. The only measure that passed was to limit government pay if there was no balanced budget.

Hmm. According to Democrats (and those select Colin Powells), the country wants higher taxes and more spending. No wonder Obama campaigned falsely on cutting taxes.
