Know What?: Cheney's Winning

There's been a lot of back and forth between Dick Cheney and Barack Obama. A lot of people are wondering: why is Cheney speaking out against our current president? Why doesn't he just go away? Everyone knows he's unpopular.

Unpopular yes. But effective. As Pat Buchanon points out, Dick Cheney is actually winning this battle against the ever popular Barack Obama.

Want proof? Look at Pelosi's plummeting approval rating. Ever since she opened up her mouth about water boarding, this has happened. And all because one man decided to challenge her publicly. Cheney:1 Pelosi:0.

Want more? Look at the US Senate, dominated by democrats. This group just voted 90 to 6 to go against Barack Obama and decline his funding to close Guantanamo. To close Guantanamo! Cheney:1 Obama:0.

I don't think Cheney cares very much about his own popularity. But he does care about the safety of America. And polls show that most Americans agree with him.

So before you go tell Cheney to shut his mouth: don't you actually agree with him? You're not alone. A majority of Americans do.
